Children's & Adult Titles Needed for Upcoming Picks Lists

There will be two opportunities for independent booksellers to help create Book Sense Picks lists in January:

• Friday, January 4, is the deadline for nominations for the March Book Sense Picks list.
• Friday, January 11, is the deadline for nominations for the Spring Children's Picks list.

"Understandably, booksellers feel as if they have just finished the marathon, but we really hope that they will put nominating a title for the Picks on their '08 to-do list," said Dan Cullen, Book Sense Picks editor-in-chief. "We are really thankful for the support from nominating booksellers over the past few months, and the result has been some very strong Picks lists. With continued participation, we can carry this on into the new year and continue to showcase the titles that independents are most excited about handselling."

Booksellers can use the nomination form, or they can send their nominations in an e-mail to picks@bookweb.org.
