Reading Group Nominations Needed

The deadline for nominations for the 2008 Book Sense Reading Group Picks list is Friday, March 7.

"The Reading Group Picks list continues to be one of the most-requested by booksellers -- which tells us that it has proven effectiveness in stores as a useful marketing tool for great fiction and nonfiction," said Dan Cullen, Book Sense Picks editor-in-chief. "We've already heard from a number of booksellers, but I hope that many, many more will send us nominations for the titles that they are most enthusiastically promoting to reading group leaders and members."

The submission process is slightly different for the Reading Group Picks.

Booksellers are encouraged to send five to 10 of their reading group favorites, especially those that might have been published in the past year. There's no need to rank them, or to send in a quote. Title recommendations may be e-mailed to picks@bookweb.org or submitted via the Picks online nomination form.
