ABA Invites All BEA Registrants to Come Celebrate

The American Booksellers Association is inviting all book industry professionals registered for BookExpo America to the Celebration of Bookselling, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, in the fifth-floor Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Hollywood, this year's Hotel ABA.

The Celebration, sponsored by Ingram Book Group/Ingram Publisher Services, will feature the presentation of the Book Sense Book of the Year Awards, the Publishers Weekly Bookseller and Rep of the Year Awards, the Pannell Awards, and more.

Among those who will be present to accept their honors are Book Sense Book of the Year Fiction winner Khaled Hosseini (A Thousand Splendid Suns, Riverhead/Penguin) and Children's Literature winner Brian Selznick (The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Scholastic Press).

A special highlight of this year's event will be the announcement of an exciting, new ABA initiative.

Light refreshments will be served, and music will be provided by Putumayo Americana artist Terri Hendrix.
